Pearlscale Butterflyfish have a mostly white body with a black stripe over its eye and orange markings before their tails. Pearlscale Butterflyfish will also give off a pearl like lighting effect when under strong reef lights.Pearlscale Butterflyfish are omnivores and need to be fed a diet that is both rich in meaty and green foods. Foods like nori and marine algae sheets, high quality flake and pellet foods, high quality frozen foods and mysis and brine shrimp will keep your Pearlscale Butterflyfish healthy and happy.
